What we do

Thornfield SIM exists to make comparing monthly SIM-only mobile deals less time-consuming. Rather than asking you to fill in a form and wait for an email, we answer the phone directly, ask a handful of questions about how you use your mobile, and talk you through the current options that are likely to suit you.

Who operates this service

This website and the advice line are operated by Corvan Mobile. Corvan Mobile is a UK-focused telecoms advisory and comparison business. We are not a mobile network operator, and we do not manufacture, brand or sell our own SIM cards — our role is to compare tariffs available from established UK mobile providers and help you find one that fits.

How we're funded

Running a free, phone-based advisory service has costs, so we're transparent about how we cover them. When a call with us leads to you taking out a new SIM-only plan, we may receive a referral or introducer commission from the relevant provider. This:

does not change the price you're quoted or the price you pay the provider;
does not influence which plan we recommend — our advice is based on what you tell us about your usage, not on which provider pays the highest commission;
is standard practice across independent comparison and advisory services in the UK telecoms sector.

Our approach to advertising

We advertise this line through Google Ads and other channels. Our adverts and this website describe Thornfield SIM accurately as an independent comparison service operated by Corvan Mobile — we do not use network operator names or logos in our advertising, and we don't claim to be the network you may already be searching for.

Data and privacy

Calls to our line may be recorded for training, quality and dispute-resolution purposes, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We do not collect personal data through this website itself — there are no sign-up forms or checkout on these pages.
